Ugh...I'm in one of those moods. The kind of mood where everything feels like its piling up and makes you feel like crap.

Anyway, I realized that I'm not finished with my last submission. It needs an extra verse, which I'm currently working on. I had my roommate read it and he told me that that's what he thought was missing, which is what I had been thinking about before he read it. Good to know. He may be able to help me write the music for it.

Can't believe that the last journal entry I wrote was on June 10th of last year. Almost a year.

And lastly, I've never kept the "Devious Journal Entry" as the title to a journal entry before, but I because I can't think of another title, I'm keeping it this once.

I didn't realize it, but I've been a member of deviantART for (more than) two years. Not only that, but before tonight my last deviation was last September and I've only had one journal entry this year. I need to get back into the game, so to speak.

Ever have the feeling that you've got all these ideas that you wanna write/draw/paint etc. about but that they're all swirling around in your head and you can't get them straight? Yeah, I've had that for a while. I'm hoping that some day there will just be a huge release of creativity where I'll be able to write all these things down, but for now it's all stuck. Damn...

Also, I have a speech I need to give for my summer class but I can't think of a topic. It just needs to be an informational speech, so any ideas would be great. It's gotta be something that I can talk about for at least 5 minutes. So...yeah.

I finally got an avatar. I saw it on the main dA page and the artist, =firstfear, is letting anyone use it. Someday I'll get an avatar that actually fits me, but for now I'll stick with this one and crave McDonald's every time I come on here.

Other than that, I've been kinda busy lately, but now I've got a two week period without any tests and only one short paper. I'm going to need to find a camcorder for this summer because I'm taking a speech class and I need to tape all my speeches for the teacher. If someone can help me with that I'd be extremely grateful.

So how's everyone doing back home?

The answer is yes...well, in video game form at least. You see, my roommate bought Rock Band for X-Box 360 on Friday and we've been playing all weekend. Amazing. Simply amazing. Take Guitar Hero, throw out any of its flaws, add drums, bass, singing, and overall, better songs and you'd have Rock Band. Best multiplayer game of the year, that's for damn sure.

So tonight (since it's now Sunday morning) I've got to volunteer at a theater down the street. By doing so I get a free ticket to the show that's currently performing, "Irving Berlin's White Christmas". I don't know how they could possibly replace the immortal Bing Crosby, but I've heard it's a good show and it's free, so I might as well check it out. I was also close to seeing an amazing show at Berklee Performance Center on Friday night but it was sold out. It was Christopher Guest doing songs from Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman, and A Mighty Wind. I wish I could have seen that. At least I got a ticket to see my favorite hockey team (NJ Devils) play against the Bruins in less than two weeks.

What else is new? Well, I guess I should be preparing for my finals in a couple of weeks. That might be a smart thing to get started on. Oh, and I got a digital camera finally, so I can take pictures down here to show you guys when I get back home. We've got our dorm completely decorated for Christmas, including a 6 foot fake tree that I bought over Thanksgiving break. And if you want to hear a great Christmas song try Tony Bennett's version of "I'll Be Home for Christmas" from The Jon Stewart Show. I bought his Christmas album, "Snowfall", basically for that one song.

Well, I'm off to do laundry, but I hope to hear from everyone soon.

Yes, it's 5:30 in the morning. My dad will just getting up for work and I haven't even gone to bed yet. I decided to pull an all-nighter to A) finish a paper and B) because I'm not really tired (and I'm excited to be coming home today). So for some reason I wanted to celebrate my first all-nighter here at college by writing this journal. At 8:00 I'll be going to class to hand in my research paper (which I completely bullshitted. It's only the first draft) and then I'll finish packing and catch the 2:15 bus home. Yay for me!  

Here's a great song, by the way. I first heard it sung by Tony Bennett on The Colbert Report and I absolutely love his version of the song.
